From a hand drawing to an online exhibition
The artists began by drawing an imagined companion and answering nine questions in their own words. Generative AI assisted with visual expression, wording, video, and music; artists chose what to keep or discard.
Eight picture books
The exhibition includes five student-originated books, one by Lee Minwoo, an opening frame story, and a special story. Pages identify the roles of original story, language support, and illustration so human and AI contributions are distinct.
Evidence and limits
The program reviewed 31 research, policy, and reference sources. It does not claim that AI-assisted picture-book making directly improves self-esteem or learning outcomes.
